Topographic Maps:
-Shows elevation
-Shape of the Earth's surface is shown by contour lines
-Contour lines are line connecting points of equal elevation
-Contour lines that are close together represent steep slopesw
-Widely spaced contour or and absence of contours, means that the ground slope is relatively level
