Types of Investigations
-descriptive: observations made about an organism, substance, reaction, or biological process. Quantatative and qualitative data.
-Comparative: comparing the effect of a variable on two or more groups. Includes ALL the parts of an experiment EXCEPT the control group
-Experimental: determines how a variable affects a group. Includes ALL parts of an experiment
A variable affects a group because it is the only thing that changes.
